The Auction that Helped a School Project
My daughter came home one day saying that she has a very interesting project to be done.
Being a graduating student in high school does have disadvantages as well, I thought. When I read her notebook, she needed to plant a bunchberry dogwood.
Where was I supposed to find that?
At least, it was a good thing that each student was given two months to work on this project and take note of the growth. That was essentially what the project was about. Since the dogwood is considered the fastest growing plant, the student would make sure that starting from day 1, when the seeds are planted, they would document its growth, for the next month or so.
I immediately went to my trusty computer and started checking online. There were already some sellers accepting a lot of bidding and offers from customers, so I checked other online auction for similar products, this bunchberry dogwood seeds.
When I spoke to another mother whose child was a classmate of my daughter, I realized that I was not the only one doing the online bid.
It was really quite difficult looking for those seeds, and even if you have ample time to prepare and plant these, you still have to get ready.
When I found a site that sold what I was looking for, I gave my online bid and waited. Fortunately, I won the bidding, and I had the seeds shipped to me overnight.
The project was submitted on time, and my daughter got an A plus as her grade.
This online auction sure made things easier.
